At present, we use Google AdSense, a third-party ad system, which is keyword-based and reacts automatically to the content which is presented on the site. We have no say over the ads that appear and we maintain a hands-off policy.
We cannot monitor all the ads as many are regionally-based. If you find an AdSense ad offensive, click on the “Ads by Google” link adjacent to the ads (not on the ads themselves), and you can register your complaint directly with Google.
